The oxtails and beef tips
Okra
When you walk in it's beautiful even the girl behind the counter knew I was happy to be there. I ordered the smothered okra. When I opened my plate just the smell did exactly what he said "made it feel like home" & I'm not from here so his food made me feel like I was to my parents house and no regrets on the purchase. Enjoyed every bite. My husband got the ribs…tendernism 🤣falling off the bone. You did ya thang sir. And you will be getting our business ALWAYS.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolute Perfection at Citizen's Choice This was hands-down one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. The braised oxtail with rice and gravy was nothing short of magnificent: fall-apart tender, richly seasoned, and drenched in a deep, soulful gravy that tasted like it had been simmered with patience, care, and real culinary know how. Every bite was luxurious, meaty, and comforting in the most satisfying way possible. The rice soaked up that gravy like a sponge, turning each forkful into pure bliss. The smothered cabbage was a quiet star: silky, savory, and perfectly cooked so it melted on the tongue without losing character. It balanced the richness of the oxtail beautifully and brought that slow-cooked, home-kitchen warmth that you simply can't fake. And the mac & cheese? Utterly indulgent! I'm usually not a fan of restaurant Mac & cheese but this one was creamy, luscious, and packed with real cheese flavor. The sauce hugged every curve of the pasta, delivering comfort and decadence in every bite! Even the cornbread was spot on! Golden, tender, and just sweet enough to round out this savory meal. This meal didn't just satisfy hunger, it nourished my soul!! It's the kind of food that reminds you why great comfort cooking matters: bold flavors, generous portions, and unmistakable heart. Citizen's Choice absolutely nailed it. If you love deeply satisfying, expertly prepared comfort food, this is a must visit. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Omgggggggg I never tried better oxtails when you cook oxtail it's a lot of gravy then oil most people think the oil is the gravy noooooo this was 10/10 omg I would recommend
